If you haven't heard, NJ recently made some big decisions that make the lives of craft breweries a lot more difficult, especially in a Covid-19 world. However, their rulings have sparked a big movement in the battle to reform how our state controls and legislates alcohol related industries, specifically breweries.
Long story short, there's a lot that is up for debate, but we at Autodidact believe that giving businesses every opportunity for success is best for our communities, towns, states, and country. Breweries specifically have a big uphill battle to being successful, and in this day and age, we should be doing everything we can to help them grow, not stifle their potential.
If you want to show your support, you can click the link below to send a letter to our state senators to ask them to support new legislation that would lift some of the heavy rulings off breweries backs, and give them a chance to flourish.

The bills in the state senate and assembly are:
Senate Bill 2990 / Assembly Bill 4518 (S-2990/A-4518)
Senate Bill 3038 / Assembly Bill 4630 (S-3038/A-4630)
Senate Bill 3042 / Assembly Bill 4637 (S-3042/A-4637)
These bills are each currently up for discussion within the New Jersey Senate and Assembly. While no rulings will be made over night, over time these bills will hopefully find their way into a major vote that changes the landscape of craft beer in NJ for the better. Until then, it's critical that we tell our representatives that we care about our breweries so that these legislations move in the right direction. Grassroots support is critical to making our voices heard!
We are really excited to get our feet under us in this incredible state, and we're looking forward to making this industry one of the many thriving industries that make this state great.
Thank you for reading. We can't wait to see you soon.
